History & Staff
We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.
Casey and Virginia Laskowski established our Funeral Home in 1964. After his service in the United States Air Force during WW II, attaining the rank of Lt. Colonel, Casey attended and graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science and worked with his brother, Mack Laskowski, a funeral director at that time.
After his brothers' death, Casey and Virginia wished to strike out on their own and in 1963 started construction of the Casey Laskowski Funeral Home at 4540-50 W. Diversey. Casey was also well known as the Chicago Alderman of the 35th Ward for 24 years.
In 1963, Virginia also attended and graduated from Worsham College. The Funeral Home opened in 1964 and still is thriving to this very day. Sons Tom and Bob, and Tom's wife Christine and our Associate Director, Brian Koskiewicz also work at the Funeral Home. Rita Laskowski Gulik is the Office Manager.
